Síndrome de Zinner Online (Zinner Syndrome)

¨Cistos congênitos da vesícula seminal (CSVCs) associados a anomalias do trato urinário superior ipsilateral são incomuns. Essa condição foi relatada como “síndrome de Zinner” (ZS) e é considerada a contraparte masculina da síndrome de Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser. O ZS pode ser assintomático e relatado incidentalmente ou pode estar associado a sintomas inespecíficos, como disúria, infecções do trato urinário (ITU), disfunção da bexiga e infertilidade. Quando sintomática, se da pelo tamanho do cisto da vesícula seminal (maior que 5 cm). O diagnóstico exige ser alcançado na idade pediátrica, pois é realizado principalmente na idade adulta, durante o período da atividade sexual. O tratamento de CSVCs é necessário se houver sintomas, pois a abordagem cirúrgica é desafiadora. Além disso, a cirurgia está associada a muitas complicações, devido à localização profunda das vesículas seminais e à dissecção exigente dos cistos no espaço retrovesical.¨
